How we run a green festival

Electricity for the Earth Day festival is generated from the sun, thanks to REC Solar, and from biodiesel, thanks to @Power. The festival strives to keep our waste to a minimum by working with exhibitors and attendees to recycle all waste. (Special thanks to MarBorg Industries and the City of Santa Barbara’s Environmental Services.) And while we strongly encourage vendors and participants to walk, bike, carpool or ride the bus to the festival, we recognize that some carbon emissions will result from a gathering of this size. To make sure this is a truly carbon-free event, we offset the remaining emissions

</rss:item><rss:item rdf:about="http://www.newnoisesb.com/shows/2010/1/4/killola-w-sick-of-sarah.html"><rss:title>KILLOLA w/ SICK OF SARAH</rss:title><rss:link>http://www.newnoisesb.com/shows/2010/1/4/killola-w-sick-of-sarah.html</rss:link>

<dc:subject></dc:subject>
